The Department of
Community Development exists to provide owners, developers, and design
professionals with assistance in planning and developing commercial and
residential property in the City of Madison. We are committed to providing
help in guiding applicants through the approval process and in creating
development that is beneficial to the citizens of our city.

Hoops, to set up an appointment to discuss your project. At that meeting we will provide you with the information
necessary to submit your project for review and approval.
We strongly encourage you to discuss the project with us before spending
time on the drawing board to be certain that your project is compatible with
the current land use and zoning for your parcel.
