A zoning
ordinance was adopted in 1996, for the City of Madison, which guides all
commercial and residential development. The Mayor and Board have also
adopted a number of other ordinances such as landscape design, signage,
subdivision and erosion control, among others. We strongly recommend that
you contact us and ask for a copy of
the ordinance relevant to your particular development prior to any planning.
