This piece of equipment allows us to locate fires and hot spots without having to rip down walls and ceilings. It can also spot a downed victim in heavy smoke which greatly increases the speed of our searches and increases the probability of victim survival.
Station 3 received a new set of TNT rescue tools in 2004 which include a power unit, spreaders, cutters, and mini cutter. Station 3 is the initial responding unit to vehicle accidents on I-55.
