Household Hazardous Waste Day is set for May 25, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Madison Central High School.
Dispose of old, unuseable or unwaned items for free.
Enter the drop-off site by way of Park Place Drive and Madison Central Drive only.
Items that are not accepted are: air conditioners, dishwashers, dryers, light bulbs, medical waste, nuclear waste, radioactive waste, refrigerators, thermostats and washers.
Items that will be accepted include paint, liquid/solid pesticides, non-regulated antifreeze and motor oil, aerosols, batteries, tires, flammable liquids, ink/toner, household equipment and electronics, televisions, computer and networking equipment, lab equipment, small electronics, prescription drugs, microwaves and more.
