The Downtown Madison Farmers Market returns for its 5th season in 2018.
The market will open in mid-May and continue every Tuesday from 3-6 p.m. through the growing season.
Come shop on the grounds of the Madison Square Center for the Arts on Main Street by the Red Caboose each Tuesday. Pick up some fresh, tasty Mississippi-grown fruits and vegetables and other delicious treats from local farmers, producers and bakers.
Customers at the market always have the satisfaction of knowing the origin of their food while having the opportunity to support the local economy.
The Downtown Madison Farmers Market is always eager to add new vendors who can bring their fresh products to the community. Anyone interested in becoming part of the weekly, seasonal market can call 601-853-0291 to learn how to be a part of our market in the heart of historic downtown Madison.
On this page you will find information sheets and applications for participating in Madison's Farmers Market. To be approved as a vendor, please download the vendor application and return it to P.O. Box 40, Madison, MS. Applications are due at least one week before vendors can join the market. Also available are regulations and requirements from the Mississippi Department of Agriculture, and a list of frequently asked questions for vendors who want to sell specialty food items from a cottage food operation.
