The Madison Airport serves up to 1,000 aircraft annually that fly in and out of Bruce Campbell Field on Old Canton Road. The City of Madison contracts with Madison Air LLC, the fixed base operator, to provide all fuel and storage services to the growing air traffic that uses the field, including privately owned planes housed there. Madison Air MX LLC is a certified Cirrus Service Center that offers maintenance services on the field.
The terminal, which opened in 2018, supplies the needs of corporate, charter, and local pilots. A spacious lobby is decorated with photographs of Madison’s aviation history and offers comfortable seating for those waiting for flights.
Pilots can find a snooze room for the perfect nap, a lounge to kick back and watch tv, showers, a weather planning room, and a conference room.
The airport can accommodate customers who need rental cars, hotels, catering, or other items to conduct business once they’ve flown into Madison.
Also located on the airport are Madison Flyers, a flight school that provides flight and ground instruction, and the Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and flying historic military aircraft.
