The City will celebrate our Veterans and America’s 250th Anniversary on November 11 at 10:00 at Strawberry Patch Park..  This program will also honor our Gold Star Families by dedicating a new Gold Star Families garden and present the Daughters of the American Revolution highest award – The Medal of Honor to Mr. Guy Hovis.   All are welcome to Celebrate our Veterans and America 250.

A seven-acre neighborhood park is located at 271 St. Augustine Drive (corner of St. Augustine Dr. and Old Canton Road) and includes:

  • One-acre lake.
  • One mile lighted walking trail.
  • Universal playground equipment, picnic tables, and benches throughout the park.
  • Strawberry Patch Chapel.
  • Restroom facilities are provided here.
  • Madison Children’s Memorial Garden.
